【摘要】:Thepourpointofacrudeoilisanindexofthelowesttemperatureofhandleabilityforcertainapplications.Thisistheonlypourpointmethodspecificallydesignedforcrudeoils.Themaximumandminimumpourpointtemperaturesprovideatemperaturewindowwhereacrudeoil,dependingonitsthermalhistory,mightappearintheliquidaswellasthesolidstate.Thetestmethodcanbeusedtosupplementothermeasurementsofcoldflowbehavior.Itisespeciallyusefulforthescreeningoftheeffectofwaxinteractionmodifiersontheflowbehaviorofcrudeoils.1.1Thistestmethodcoverstwoproceduresforthedeterminationofthepourpointtemperaturesofcrudeoilsdowntox2212;36x00B0;C.ProcedureAprovidesameasureofthemaximum(upper)pourpointtemperatureandisdescribedin9.1.ProcedureBprovidesameasureoftheminimum(lower)pourpointtemperatureandisdescribedin9.2.1.2Theuseofthistestmethodislimitedtouseforcrudeoils.PourpointtemperaturesofotherpetroleumproductscanbedeterminedbyTestMethodD97.1.3ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Forspecifichazardstatements,seeSection7.
