【摘要】:1.1Thispracticesetsforthamethodtospecifyanequivalent3-seconddesignloadingsuitabletousewithPracticeE1300toselectthethicknessandtypeofblastresistantglazingfabricatedwithlaminatedglasstoglazeafenestration.1.2Thispracticeappliestoblastresistantglazingfabricatedusinglaminatedglassonly,includingsinglelaminatedglassandinsulatingglassfabricatedwithlaminatedglass.1.3Thispracticeassumesthatblastresistantglazingshallbeadheredtoitssupportingframeusingstructuralsiliconesealantoradhesiveglazingtape.Thewidthofthestructuralsiliconesealantbeadshallbeatleastequaltobutnotlargerthantwotimesthethicknessdesignationoftheglasstowhichitadheres.Thewidthofglazingtapeshallbeatleastequaltotwotimesbutnotmorethanfourtimesthethicknessdesignationoftheglasstowhichitadheres.1.4ThispracticeassumestheframingmembersshallrestrictdeflectionsofedgesofblastresistantglazingtheysupporttoL/160undertheequivalent3-seconddurationdesignloadingasdeterminedherein,whereLdenotesthelengthofthesupportededge.1.5Thispracticeassumestheframingsystemsupportingtheblastresistantglazingshallattachmechanicallytothestructuralframingsystemwithfastenersthatwillresistforcesgeneratedbyauniformloadactingontheblastresistantglazingthathasamagnitudeatleast2.0timesthemagnitudeofthe3-secondequivalentdesignloadasdeterminedherein.1.6Theequivalent3-seconddesignloadasdeterminedhereinshallnotapplytothedesignofmonolithicglazing,plasticglazing,orsecurityfilmappliedtoexistingglazingconfigurationsinanattempttoachieveblastresistance.1.7thevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Valuesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.ForconversionofquantitiesinvarioussystemsofmeasurementstoSIunitsrefertoANSI/IEEE/SI10.1.8Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
